Every month, Olathe and all of our neighboring communities offer a wide range of events, workshops, and seminars to help provide everyone in the community with important information, safe environments to have fun, and more. In today’s article, we take a look at just a few of the upcoming events that you and your family can look forward to!

WHAT’S GOING ON?


July 22nd – Social Security Disability Workshop: Gilda’s Club Kansas City will host a Social Security Disability workshop at Saint Luke’s South, located at 12300 Metcalf Avenue in Overland Park, KS. The class will help attendees learn what they need to know about Social Security Disability, and will include debunking common myths and providing tips and information for filling out claims. The workshop will be held in Conference Room A and will last from 6pm – 7:30pm.


July 25th – Don’t Burn Out: The Truth About Inflammation: Mills Chiropractic & Wellness Center will host the July Workshop: Don’t Burn Out, from 6:15pm – 7:15pm. The workshop will be held at the center, located at 13795 South Mur-Len Road, Ste. #203, in Overland Park, KS, and is free for everyone to attend. Attendees will learn the importance of recognizing signs of chronic inflammation, health risks that can result from it, and other important information about their long-term health and wellness.


July 31st – Prepare to Care Workshop: The AARP’s Prepare to Care Workshop will be held at Sandwiched KC, located at 9200 Ward Pkwy, Ste. #350, in Kansas City, MO. It will begin at 6pm and last until 8pm, and will cover information and resources to help everyone learn to care for themselves and their loved ones better. Complimentary refreshments will also be available.
